Bol Akuar the captain of Al Hillal F.C. of Aweil clarified what demotes them speaking to Wanyjok Sports’ Clement Ker this month. Akuar said that the team changed its initial name which was Istiglal which means “independence” because it was founded on July 9 2011 in honour of the world’s newest and war-torne country of South Sudan. Akuar says, “they are lacking sponsorship reasons and the team is currently depending on their hands for its expenditures”. We have foreign players like our neighbours especially the Sudanese, added the captain Bol Akuar.

I founded the team by myself on December 15, 2013 and in the same year the team was registered in sporting minstery, it would be a good idea if we gonna keep it because some coming days the team may represent South Sudan, he added. He also explained that he founded the team in order to draw back the street-boys to school and better future. Where do you get the fund in order to asist the team? Clement Ker asked, Iam working with the United Nation Mission In South Sudan (UNMISS), that is where I get the fund, says Jacob Garang. My side is going well, he added".

Kuach Kamon reveals his football career

Kuach Garang Majok Jok—the 23 years-old spoke to Clement Ker the Wanyjok Sports reporter this morning—he has revealed his football career: “I was born on September 10, 1992 in Khartoum, Sudan; I have grown up in Khartoum since I was born” [he told Wanyjok Sports]. Khartoum is also a place where I started my football career and after I developed my football career, I was signed by Ashai Omdurman F.C. and played with them till 2010. In the same year I made up and prepared going to the southern part of the country which is currently known as South Sudan. There I was signed by Al-Hilal Wau F.C. in favour of three-year contract. After I given them what they want from me, I decided to go to The Mars (Merreikh Aweil F.C.) in 2012. And in the year of the 2014, I joined Al-Merreikh Juba F.C. where Iam currently wearing number 2 as well as 2 at South Sudan national football team. I play every position but Iam known as a defender, he added.

The meeting has taken place since 1999 and brings together the majority of coaches from Europe’s top clubs. Along with the Real Madrid were, including others, Carlo Ancelotti (Bayern Munich), Mircea Lucescu (Zenit), José Mourinho (Manchester United), Arsene Wenger (Arsenal), Unai Emery (Paris Saint-Germain), Luis Enrique (Barcelona) and Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus). The forum was chaired by Sir Alex Ferguson, UEFA’s coaching ambassador. The Italian former-referee and UEFA refereeing delegate Pierluigi Collina, was also in attendance.
